Exhibition Teacher Guides
Clark County School District (CCSD) and private school educators can connect to LVAM’s online resources on teaching, understanding, and appreciating contemporary art. Prepare for upcoming classroom or museum visits by downloading Teacher’s Guides for LVAM’s current exhibitions, including background facts and follow-up activities for students. Using LVAM education materials, teachers can:
» schedule an outreach presentation and have an LVAM educator come to your classroom with over 16 different presentations about Modern and Contemporary art;
» borrow the Art Survey outreach presentation, complete with a prepared lesson that you can tailor to fit your existing curriculum;
» schedule a guided museum tour, where students are introduced to gallery etiquette and learn to discuss art within current cultural and intellectual contexts.

Teacher’s Tours
LVAM offers guided special Teacher’s Previews for each new exhibition. Teachers are welcome to join the free teacher’s preview prior to scheduling a museum tour with their class. Teachers who are unable to attend the preview may schedule a tour at any time with a group of eight or more adults. Tours and admission are free for teachers with a valid CCSD or private school ID.
